The swimming pool sport had a great second day at the IV World Cadet Games Venezuela 2024, adding 8 new medals in the categories of 200 meters Women’s Backstroke, 200 meters Men’s Backstroke, 200 meters Women’s Breaststroke, 100 meters Women’s Freestyle, 100 meters Women’s Butterfly, 100 meters Men’s Butterfly and 4×100 Mixed Freestyle Relay.
This activity was attended by the Second Commander and Chief of the Naval Staff of the Bolivarian Navy Vice Admiral Edward Centeno Mass, who expressed his pride in the Venezuelan delegation for its performance during the competitions.
The Military World Cadet Games have the endorsement of the International Military Sports Council (CISM), as they represent a stage for the meeting and integration of young cadets from around the world. In this edition of the high-level sporting competition, delegations from China, Iran, Nicaragua, Mozambique, Pakistan, Russia, Sri Lanka, Turkey and Venezuela are participating.
