Tiuna Fort, Caracas capital of Venezuela, August 19, 2024 – The emblematic “El Libertador” Shooting Range was the scene of an intense day of sport, where the delegations of Russia, China, Iran and Venezuela faced each other in a close men’s rifle competition. The athletes demonstrated their skill and precision in each shot, they have left their country on a positive note.
In a heartbreaking finale, Russia took the victory, adding a total of 657 points. Their impeccable performance positioned them as the undisputed winners of this exciting competition. China followed closely behind with 606 points, once again demonstrating its power in the sporting arena. Iran obtained 465 points, while Venezuela, despite its effort, reached only 342 points.
In turn, China won the men’s 25-meter team pistol discipline, with a total score of 798. The Chinese athletes demonstrated concentration and precision, beating Russia, which obtained 788 points. Iran with 753 points achieved third place, while Venezuela was fourth with 733 points and Pakistan with 728 points.
This tournament has not only demonstrated the high level of sports shooting around the world, but it has also acted as a gathering place for athletes from other countries, fostering a stronger athletic spirit and friendship.
