Russia and Venezuela showed the sports preparation of their athletes in the fourth day of the IV World Cadet Games

Russia and Venezuela reflected an optimal sports performance this Wednesday, August 21 as part of the IV World Cadet Games in which eight delegations have participated since last Sunday, August 18.

Volleyball: Russia and Venezuela made it to the final

Venezuela obtained first place and Russia second in the female category. Thus, the two cadet teams will face each other this Thursday, August 22, in the final of this discipline.

Regarding the Cadets of volleyball in the male category, Russia was in first place, Venezuela in second and China in third.

Venezuela number 1 in Fencing

Venezuela reached first place in the different categories of fencing. In the male category of Foil, the Venezuelan team beat Russia twice and Türkiye in a third match.

Likewise, in the women’s foil event Venezuela beat Russia, while in the epee event, in both categories (men’s and women’s) it triumphed over Russia.

Athletics

This competition began with the men’s 10,000-meter flat event, where the Iranian cadet, Amir Hossein Safari, beat his opponents, reaching the finish line in a time of 31:58.12 minutes.

Second place was achieved by the representative of Pakistan, Muhammad Akhart, with 31:59.95.

Likewise, third place was awarded to Russia, with the cadet Denis Kaiser, who achieved a time of 32:27.02.

The Long Jump was attended by cadets from Türkiye, Russia, Iran, Sri Lanka, China and Venezuela.

Russian Cadet Iurii Ozhgibesov reached the distance of 8.07 meters, breaking the record of the games, which was 7.52 meters.

In second place was Cadet Eduard Akberdin from Russia, with a jump of 6.84 and in third place was Venezuelan Richard Marchan, who jumped 6.68 meters.

800 meters: Iran with the gold

In the men’s 800 meter race, Iran with Cadet Mehr Saadat, reached the finish line in a time of 1:53.23, obtaining the gold medal.

Second place was achieved by Russian Cadet Mehr Saadat, with 1:53.52 and obtaining the silver medal. Third place was awarded to Venezuelan Cadet Hector Gomez Eliett, 1:53.87 (bronze medal).

In the women’s category, Russia came out on top with cadet Sofia Bukina, with 2:16.40 minutes. In second and third place came Venezuelans Katiuska Moreno de la Rosa with a time of 2:20.85 and Daniela Brito Guerra who reached 2:21.93.

China and Russia take first place in Shooting

In the 25-meter rapid-fire pistol competition for men, the first two places went to China with 809 points and Pakistan with 744 points. Likewise, in the 300-meter rapid-fire rifle competition for men, Russia took first place with 550 points and China second with 534 points.

In the discipline of Fencing, Russia took first place in the men’s category and Venezuela took second place.

China and Russia took first, second and third place, respectively, in the Military Pentathlon in the women’s category.

Russia also took first and second place in the men’s category, and Türkiye took third place.

In the women’s grenade throw, Venezuela managed to beat China in first place, while the Asian country took second and third place.

However, in the men’s category, China took first place, followed by Venezuela and Türkiye, who tied for second place.

Swimming

Russia and Venezuela took first and second place, respectively, in the women’s 200-meter medley. In the men’s category, Russia took first place again, followed by China and Venezuela.

On the other hand, in the women’s 50-meter freestyle, China won over Venezuela, and in the men’s category, Russia took the first three places.

In the women’s 200-meter butterfly, China and Venezuela took the first two places, and in the men’s category, Russia won, followed by Venezuela and China.

Regarding the women’s 200-meter freestyle, Russia beat China and Venezuela, taking first place in the discipline. For their part, the Russian cadets again occupied the first two places in this discipline in the men’s category.

The 4×100 medley was as follows: Russia in first place, Venezuela in second and China in third place.

China and Russia appear in Military Orienteering

China reached first place in the women’s Military Orienteering discipline, followed by Russia in second place and Venezuela in third place.

In the men’s category, Russia obtained the first two places and China the third.

The IV World Cadet Games continue, demonstrating the brotherhood through sport between sister nations that bet on peace.
