Russia wins in Volleyball

This Monday, August 19, the IV Cadet World Cup continues to take place at the Bolivarian Army Academy Gymnasium in Venezuela, where the Russian Federation stood out in its participation during the volleyball discipline, in which the Russian team showed its determination from the first set, winning with a score against China with 3×10 in the men’s and women’s category, the final between Russia vs China gave Russia the victory with a resounding 3×10.

The excitement of the athletes was palpable, the event was attended by the Vice Minister of Defense Education and rector of the Bolivarian Military University of Venezuela, Major General Felix Osorio Guzman, who was accompanied by the President of the Multi-Sport Federation of the FANB and the Director of the International Council of World Military Sports (CISM) Colonel Joseph Bakari of Tanzania.

After a brief pause, the men’s team between Venezuela and Russia declared the Russian team the winner with a 3X0.

Meanwhile, the women’s category of Venezuela took the euphoria of its fans after having a very close match with the Russian Federation with a very close score resulting in the winner: Venezuela 25×20.

The competitor Carlybeth Gunrry Quintana thanked her team and the Venezuelan fans, emphasizing that the prize stays at home.

The Volleyball final will take place this coming Thursday – August 22 – at the Gymnasium of the Military Academy of the Bolivarian Army of Venezuela, where an exciting final is expected for both teams that are competing to win the long-awaited winner’s trophy.
