The Venezuelan team added new gold medals by occupying the first places in the Athletics discipline in the male and female categories.
In the 1,500 meters for men, Venezuela won after beating Russia and Iran. Likewise, in the 1,500 meters for women, Russia took first place and Venezuela second.
The Venezuelan cadet delegation came in first place, obtaining the gold medal in the 200 meters, both in the male and female categories.
Meanwhile, in the 4×400 meters for women, Venezuela reached first place, Russia second, followed by China in third place. In the case of the male delegation, first place was awarded to Russia and second place to Venezuela.
In the women’s long jump, Sri Lankan cadets took first place, followed by Russia and Venezuela.
China took first place in the shooting discipline
In the men’s 25m individual rapid-fire pistol event, the Chinese cadets showed their prowess and took first place with 280 points, followed by Russia with 265 points.
The cadets who participated and took first place in the men’s 300m individual rapid-fire rifle event were the Chinese delegation in first and second place, followed by Russia.
On the other hand, the women who participated in the 25m individual rapid-fire pistol event and took first place were the Chinese team.
Likewise, China took all three places in the women’s 300m individual rapid-fire rifle event.
China and Russia shine in Military Pentathlon
The cadets of both nations caught the attention of locals and visitors by occupying the first places in this discipline.
In the case of China, it took over the Military Pentathlon in the female category, while Russia did the same in the male category.
Russia dominated swimming
In the male 50-meter breaststroke category, Russia occupied the first two places, but the females who reached the first place in the 50-meter breaststroke were those of the Venezuelan delegation.
Russia once again demonstrated its great swimming skills in the 100-meter backstroke, both in the male and female categories, reaching first place.
On the other hand, the female category of the 100-meter backstroke, was left with Russia in first place and Venezuela in second and third place.
In the case of the male category, Russia occupied the first two places and the Venezuelan delegation in third place.
In the women’s 400m backstroke, China showed its great power by taking first place, Russia took the first two places in the men’s 400m backstroke.
Next, in the women’s and men’s 4x100m freestyle categories, Russia took the number one spot, Venezuela took second place and China took third place.
Venezuelan delegation won in women’s volleyball
The Venezuelan delegation showed what it is made of and its high level of preparation in the volleyball discipline, reaching number one position in the women’s category.
This same streak did not accompany the men’s volleyball team, which, although it put in great effort on the court, was unable to prevail against Russia.
